Professional Photography for Baseball in Dominican Republic
On October 22, 2026, we photographed the USA U18 national baseball team in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, during the WBSC Américas U18 Baseball Championship, in a game against Brazil.
The story
A day of international baseball in Boca Chica
As a baseball photographer in the Dominican Republic, few days are as intense as covering a national team mid-tournament. This time it was in Boca Chica, with the USA U18 national team facing Brazil at the WBSC Américas U18 Baseball Championship.
The day started with the team huddled near home plate before the first pitch, moved into the real action of the game — pitches, at-bats, close plays on the bases — and ended with the handshake line between both teams after the final out. Between plays, there's room for portraits too: a batter in the on-deck circle, a runner taking signals from the base coach at second, the team celebration near the plate.
Covering baseball at this level means being in the right spot at the exact instant — something that's only possible with the right equipment and real experience shooting unscripted sports action.

Frequently asked questions
About baseball photography
Do you photograph visiting baseball teams in the Dominican Republic?
Yes. We cover national teams, clubs, and baseball tournaments at any stadium in the country — from Boca Chica to Santo Domingo, Santiago, or the East. We coordinate field access with the team or organizer in advance.
What does baseball game coverage include?
Game action (pitches, at-bats, plays on the bases), individual player portraits, team moments (huddles, celebrations, the handshake line) and, if requested, ceremony coverage.
How much does it cost to photograph a baseball team or tournament?
It depends on the duration, the number of games, and whether you need single-day or multi-day coverage. Every project is custom quoted — there is no fixed package.
What equipment do you use for baseball photography?
High-speed mirrorless bodies (Canon R3-class) with tracking autofocus, and 400mm to 600mm super-telephoto lenses — the reach needed to shoot real action from the sideline or the stands without interfering with play.
Need baseball coverage?
